FrosCon

I am excited. finally it is time for another thrilling Open Source Event. FrosCon
This time the Venue is: Bonn, Sankt Augustin.

It all stared in a hot summer day of August by spotting a frog marking the road.

The impressions that I have gathered on the previous Open Source Conference have been confirmed: open source guys are creative.

You can see  the typical badge-stand.
There was a map of Germany and the world where each participant can proudly pinpoint where he/she comes from. I spotted I was the only guy presenting Bulgaria :)
Arduino : Adventure for the software developers
that are not afraid to make their hands dirty with hardware.

I did attend the following talks:
TopicComments and Morals
Agile in a year: How a Software Company became agileExperiments and learn by practice
Mobile Linuxed-based OS Android will prevail in the market of Open Source Mobile OS
OS Project - mehr als Source code see below
Arduino Workshop arduino is a programmable piece of hardware - namely a chip that can control any device: from a hand-made origami to a complicated unreal piano

There was a guy from Austria that did really manage to summarize the whole story about open source. He outlined the key points one has to consider when facing a OS project.- related to people and tools What was inspiring were his creative slides – picture for each keypoint. That reminded me of the cool site despair.com. A picture speaks a thousand words.

Events like this are fostering you to keep on progressing with the software ideas that you are obsessed with. By seeing the other enthusiasts like you, you know you are not the only one - vice versa - a great community waits for you to join the projects.

Never forget: All successful software was open source at its infancy!
